This lovely AMV popped up in my YouTube recommendations yesterday – and I just had to share it as soon as I could. Just today I’ve watched it about three times, even when I should have been doing other things.
Heavy on the feels, and with the video very nicely synced to the audio, it’s very definitely Worth Watching. I especially like the fast cuts during the drum parts right before the refrain – inspired!
This AMV also solved a long-standing “problem” of mine. Many AMV’s are made using fairly recent or current music… Music that I don’t really listen to, or often care that much for. Inspired by this video, I started searching by band or song name, and there’s actually quite a few AMV’s out there with older music! After just a couple of hours last night, I’ve got a nice list of AMV’s using Queen songs. Should get a post up with them in the next week or two.
Yes, I promise it will be out soon(ish). I know I’m awful about such things.
I spent last night re-watching some of the series on Crunchyroll, and remembered that when the show was airing the OP was on my “almost always list”. I hit iTunes, and lo and behold Aozora no Rhapsody was indeed available and my wallet quickly $1.29 lighter. (And that’s another post currently in draft – updating my anime playlist.)
Anyhow, thanks for reading and if you enjoyed the AMV – be sure and drop by YouTube and leave a comment or an upvote for the original creator.
Enjoyed the AMV. I still need to get around to the actual show though ;)

Aw, cute video. Rapid fire imagery during drum bridges. Heh.

“Bridge” – that was the term I was trying to remember. Glad you liked it!

That was phenomenal! Straight into my YouTube AMV playlist that goes, and thanks for sharing it!
Also, I recognized the creator’s name as soon as it flashed up at the end. Drewaconclusion also made one of my favorite K-On AMVs that’s been in my playlist for years, “She Loves That Rock and Roll” (featuring the music of ELO). Nice to know he/she is still making great videos.
