This lovely AMV popped up in my YouTube recommendations yesterday – and I just had to share it as soon as I could. Just today I’ve watched it about three times, even when I should have been doing other things.
Heavy on the feels, and with the video very nicely synced to the audio, it’s very definitely Worth Watching. I especially like the fast cuts during the drum parts right before the refrain – inspired!

It’s that time of year again! Crunchyroll is asking us, the users and viewers, to choose what anime are worthy of awards in a large span of categories. I thought I’d write up what I’m voting for and why for your amusement. This post covers the second group, which we’ll be voting on next week (01/29-02/04).

The final season finales are in the can… so let’s hit the jump and let’s see how they stack up.
Well… a busy, busy week as we swing into the penultimate and final episodes of the season. Some shows close out strong, other just slink across the finish line… and a couple just drop out of the race entirely.
Hit the jump and see what I thought, then let me know your thoughts down in the comments. (Really the comments aren’t just about responding to me, they’re all about you and what you think!)

With the insane go-go-go seven evenings in a row behind me, and despite Crunchy once again misbehaving on weekends, I’m mostly caught up. This week, catching up on weekly series, some thoughts on March comes in like a Lion, a little bit about my non-anime hobbies and why I’m only caught up on shows my wife and I are watching…
So, fresh cup of coffee at hand and my animusic channel playing on Pandora, let’s get right into it.
As predicted last week, our insanely busy schedule meant we only watched two shows last week… After the jump, a quick look at Maid Dragon and Konasuba and the week(s) ahead.
Got busy, didn’t have time to watch let alone write, and so missed a week… Then was mostly caught up, but didn’t want to write because I wasn’t caught up… around and around in self-reinforcing cycle. Bad.
Gomenasai! I should have at least posted a note or something, and will do so in the future. You the reader can’t discuss weekly if I don’t post something each week.
Anyhow, let’s get caught up up and move forward…
Another week in the life.. Some shows progress, some regress, others tread water. Demi-Chan, Miss Koyabishi, and Konasuba were especial delights.
All this, and a look at the first episode of Cyborg 009: Call of Justice after the break!
(The opening to the 2001-2 series, one of my favorite series and favorite openings.)
Most shows are getting to the middle third of their arcs… introductions and set up are over, and now we dive into the meat of things!
